ROAD TRIP

  Road trip from Phoenix to Payson to Show Low then through Springerville to Alpine down through Hannigan Meadows to Morenci and Clifton over to Safford them back to Phoenix all-in-one day total of 574 miles give or take a few,  while taking pictures along the way. I was hoping to see some monsoon storms because we haven't had any in Phoenix, well maybe a few but not much.

 Left home at 6:00 in the morning The Sun is just barely coming up, good sign with clouds around.

    Everywhere I went it seems like I was just ahead of the clouds.

The wildflowers out in some of the meadows looked like they were covered with yellow carpet. 

       Just had to stop and get a picture the horses and the old corral.

            My co-pilot takes all the pictures why we're are moving,         wait a minute I don't have a copilot?

                  What a beautiful drive 1st time I've ever done it.

 Pictures just doesn't do it Justice. Lots of turns I think they're 360 of them and a few are switch backs.

                            But still no rain.

                      I can't believe how big the mine is and  It feels like you                                     drive right through the center of it.

          Clouds are getting darker but no rain yet!
