My last hike of 2016

Went hiking Dec. 31,2016 in McDowell Mountain Preserve  

Bell pass to Tom's thumb. 

It was cold wet foggy morning.

                           Not a very good day for picture

but I was hoping to get above the fog so I could take some pictures of the fog down in the valley.

But that did not happen the fog never lifted all morning and the higher I went the thicker it got.

When I got to the back side of the McDowell Mountain the fog was lifting a little but still not very good condition of pictures.

Just try to make the best of the situation you're handed.

The best part of the whole trip was this hart-shaped Rock alongside the trail.

Maybe next time I will get some good pictures, but it was a fun trip anyway.
